I Can See Now

2025 July 13

For a while now, I've been mainly using a 17'' laptop screen for most computer activities alongside a 40'' TV for recreation.

This was fucking ridiculous.

Especially because I already had a larger monitor (I believe it's 24''. No idea, and frankly I don't need to know right now) somewhere else in the house, I just never wanted to actually change my desk setup.

Well anyways, I went ahead and moved everything around recently and gave the "new" monitor a try and Why did I not commit to this sooner?

I had regularly encountered issues where 1080p standards made GUI elements feel small. So why did I not use the big screen?? I use tab tiling, and now I can do so without reducing my browser windows to a size appropriate for ants.

There can be beauty in suffering, sure, but sometimes you just need to take the headache medicine or start using the reasonably sized monitor.
